We got the right reaction to our poor start last week and a big thanks to all the boys who listened carefully and contributed to our pre-match discussion. Unlike last week, we were fully focused from the very start and that remained throughout the game.

A slight change to our usual formation certainly helped and the boys adapted to it brilliantly. Overall, this was a really good game of football and on another day, one we might have drawn or even won. We went behind right on half time which was unfortunate, but we came out full of fight in the second half. We just couldn't find the finish that would have rewarded our efforts when getting into some good scoring positions.

If we can continue to play like this we will win matches. Everyone played their part and it was a real team effort, with good attitude, commitment and desire, not to mention some really good football by us. All over the pitch there were fine performances, but Star Player goes to Ryan B who epitomises the Forbes team spirit and his contribution to the squad should never be undervalued. He is growing in confidence every week and worked hard on the right hand side, getting into a couple of good scoring positions. Well done Ryan.
