A great performance from the boys today, we couldn't have asked for any more........except perhaps a goal that would have taken us into extra time!

A very close match played in excellent spirits, saw two well matched teams entertain with end to end football. We went behind mid-way through the first half, but pulled it back to 1-1 with Henry scoring a great goal with a low crisp finish. We then went ahead with Jack scoring with a very well taken finish after a great run down the left. With ten minutes to go it looked like the momentum was with us, but two goals late on from a determined Palace side meant it was not to be. A painful defeat but there are many positives to take from the game and some great performances all 'round. The boys are improving each week and it's great to see the extra work we are doing on Saturday's paying off.

Again, fantastic performances throughout the team, but Henry shades it this week for his determination, good work with the ball and a fine goal. Well done Henry, a really positive performance today, taking responsibility and encouraging the team.
