Forbes registered their first win and what a fine one it was.

Against a newly formed Coulsdon team, Forbes wasted no time in taking the game to the opposition and showed some great passing and attacking flair. Having been on the end of a run of defeats, this victory was a great boost for the squad who continue to give everything in each game.

A brace each from Ryan V and Henry plus goals from Jack and Freddie saw Forbes run out comfortable winners against a Coulsdon side who never gave up and gave a determined second half display. All goals were very well taken and included a stunning volley from Freddie, which was the pick of the bunch.

The whole team played for each other (Max even playing 20 minutes for Coulsdon before their 7th player arrived!). Even when winning comfortably the team defended strongly and were determined to keep a clean sheet. Dominic and Daniel shared glove duty and made sure that we conceded no goals.

It was a real team effort and difficult to single out any one player. However, Ryan V showed great energy and was everywhere on the pitch, his two goals capping a fine performance.

A special day and this team will only get better.
