Despite going down 6-1 to Warren Jaguars, Forbes showed that this newly formed team will get stronger and stronger as the season continues.

With Dominica Furnival making a string of excellent saves and a resilient organised defence consisting of Sam Campbell, Henry Mockler and Daniel Addington, Forbes held Jaguars at bay until half time. Freddie Dolan (Captain) and Michael Baldwin held midfield together, with Jack Parker providing an outlet when Forbes forayed forward.

Henry Mockler was proving a rock in defence, but as the game continued Jaguars' experience showed as eventually they scored the first of six goals. Ryan Vigor provided renewed energy on the right with Max Williams replacing Jack Parker. Luke Fox and Ryan Berry came in to give our defence a much needed break as Forbes began to tire.

The "never give up" attitude from last week was again in evidence as Forbes went in search of a goal to reward their efforts, with Max Williams breaking through but unable to find a finish. In the end, the returning Jack Parker found the net with a crisp finish to register Forbes' first ever league goal.

The boys showed they have tremendous team spirit and should all be very proud of their efforts.
