Fantastic game today, couldn’t be happier with the passing, work rate and finishing. Lucky to get away with a couple of classic Smart defensive ‘moments’ but our makeshift keepers did us proud in almost a total shut out. If we can cut out the defensive lapses I think we can beat anyone. Evan was particularly good today passing out from the back again and on the LW in the last quarter, all the finishes were mint (particularly Holly’s) but POM was LB today, worked super hard, kept possession really well against two defenders to assist both first half goals and was right place right time for his two goals in the 2nd half. Great stuff, let’s win this fricking Spring Trophy please - although obviously it’s not all about winning.
